In an attempt to entertain myself while waiting for O’s surgery to be over - in between telling L to go back to his room 45 times for nap/quiet time - I went back and looked through some emails to clean out some of the 2000+ I have in my gmail account.
I get a lot of crap, but there were a couple that stuck out.
- BizRate: Remember the ad that used to be in the side bar? Well, they are now going to pay me to remove it. Evidently the ad wasn’t just not working; it was detrimental to business! (I’m not the only one…there is a group of us who have to take it down.)
- Sitemeter: I hadn’t looked at my stats in a while and I was a little surprised to see that there are an average of 108 of you who visit this site each day. (I don’t know how RSS feeds get counted, so there may be even MORE of you reading this nonsense.)
HO-LY CRAP! Who are you people? Why are you here?
No really. Why?
Ok, ok…actually I DO know quite a few of you, so that cuts down the mystery to…oh, maybe half. And those of you in Croatia and Finland probably haven’t been back since you first visited. Additionally, the fact that 44 people in the UK have read my blog in the last week is a leetle suspicious. But still…even if the stats are a little off, almost 85% of you have been here more than once.
So what’s up peeps? Are you too embarrassed to comment? Do I not write anything that makes you want to comment? (Um, why do you keep reading then?) Are you just bored?
Well here’s the deal. I really need you to out yourselves if you have a blog of your own. I have decided to limit my blog reading to only those people who read mine. And I definitely want to be reading yours if you’re spending the 2.03 minutes/day over here to figure out what’s been going on with Neal and Ang in my world.
So. If you hang out here on a regular basis and you’ve never seen me over at your place, please let me know. You can email me, or comment, or post a sign in front of my house, etc. However you do it, we must remedy the situation.
And now, back to our regularly posted drivel.
