Playdates

Jack came over this morning so Jenn could run to the grocery store, and he and Elena played outside the whole morning.

I’m surprised he actually played WITH her. She looked a little scary.

Really though, mostly he just played with Rocket.

And I guess she was more interested in killing the plants anyway.

Macey enjoyed it their time together, though.

Liam and I baked a new kind of cookie when he got home from school. They sucked.

That’s what I get for trying to bake “cookies” without using any white sugar.

Interestingly, I somehow managed to eat six of them. Hmmmm.

I spent a little time working on a website for my 15-year high school class reunion which, as the class president, I should be planning, but as the slacker that I am, I’m avoiding as well as I seem to have done the first time around. Fortunately there are a few girls still in the area who keep the show running, but it’s been fun to be in touch with everyone again.

Tonight was also our date night, so Jenn came and kept the kids and we went to Black and Blue. It was pretty damn tasty. We had cote de boeuf, Aaron’s favorite. We also got to discuss politics, which just never seems to come up as a topic when I’m home alone with the kids.

We had a nice, calm walk through Belsize Park on the way home.  It didn’t even rain!
