  • Took L to school and then went to the Dr.’s office to finish up the registration process. It was a little weird. When I got up to the waiting room, there wasn’t anyone at the desk. It was that way for probably 15 minutes or so. Then a woman came out and asked if I’d given my urine sample.Am I just supposed to know this? And if I’m supposed to know it, where was I to get the cup? Oh, it’s right there on the counter. Evidently I AM supposed to know this.

I did my duty and it was clear that I hadn’t had enough water this morning. (Dude…at 9.30 a.m., it is SERIOUSLY yellow.)

The woman, who was not the receptionist (so there was no one out there when we walked back), took me back in the lab and asked a bunch of questions, which I neglected to answer using the metric system, and told me to make a “double appointment” to speak to the doctor about my prescriptions.

Double appointment? You can do that?

  • Worked on a cleaning list for tomorrow. Thank you FlyLady.
  • Spoke to my lovely mother to wish her a happy birthday. She was a little worn out from outpatient surgery on Mon., but I’m guessing she was having a better day without the 1/4 inch (.635 cm) stone rolling around in her kidney.
  • Worked more on the cleaning list, and then got sucked into FlyLady’s routines. Me likey.
  • A and I stayed up with E until 11, at which point he went to bed. E and I were up until almost 2.Fucking Time Zones.
