Had the usual peeps over today to decorate easter eggs.

It was exhausting, but the kids were really good.

The kiddos were had such a great time playing – even the little ones.

We started decorating around noon.

We only had one mishap. (L didn’t have the volume turned up on his Listening Ears.)

At least it wasn’t purple. The floor is no worse for the wear with the orange.

Jen, Jules, and Ethan (JJE) stayed for naps. Rachel stuck around for a bit as well.

After naps, we had an easter egg hunt.

L didn’t get that they go into the basket and you open them later. (I didn’t explain it before we started, either.)

Needless to say, I didn’t get much else done, but I did have time to bake cakes. I put a little too much in the pans, I think, but I wanted a skinny, tall cake.

(By the way, more pics of the party here.)

JJE stayed until Jen couldn’t handle “Crack Liam” any longer. I think it was around 5.30.

AJ got home later than normal, but we stayed up late and watched movies – South Park and Fight Club. He made beer while I decorated my cake.

Doesn’t that just look nasty?

Okay, as the wife of a brewer, I LOVE THE SMELL OF WORT! That made me excited for David’s next batch.
