It’s so much more fun to pay bills with happy checks.
Certainly, we do most of our bill paying online. But we do have the occasional need for the handwritten check.
It’s been interesting the past 3.5 years because we’ve still been using our checks with our old address. I was writing in all of the new information every time and it was just getting annoying.
However, we have finally managed to dwindle the old supply down to one book. Once I realized that, I got right on it. Then I waited eagerly for them to arrive.
I’m pleased to say that we got these in the mail this week. And I’m anything but “standard,” so I went with the Retro font. Sassy checks need sassy type.
I like them so much that I might just stop using my debit card.

OMG. I just looked at our old checks and they still have my maiden name on them. We’ve been married more than FIVE years!
