Miss Megan’s 29th Birthday Bash

Filed under: Aaron, BackBlogging, Friends — Heidi at 1:45 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2006

My dear friend, Citizen Meg, turned 29 on tax day. She celebrates every year because since her birthday is on the 15th, she gets her tax return early.
Ok, I made that part up, but I really think that there should be some sort of benefit for those having to celebrate their birthday on the crappiest day of the year.

Anyway, she hosted a fantastic bash last evening and of course, Aaron and I were among the chosen few to attend. I did not get to stay very long as I had to relieve the babysitter – and I was exhausted after the shower antics Sat. morning, but I did get a few choice pics of the evening before things got crazy.

One of my favorite couples of all time.

Jeff’s French-Canadian beer, which offered a warning to anyone drinking it out of anything but a tulip glass.

And finally, since Meg is keen on being the paparazzi herself, it was time for a little payback. (In one picture you can actually see her uvula.)

And this…THIS is after things got crazy.

Aaron, who said he wasn’t going to be late, ended up taking Meg home at the end of the night. He’s such a sweet one, that Aaron.

Anyway, happy birthday Meg. I always think you’re older than me because you’re a super-smart attorney. It shocks me every year that you’re younger than my sister!

I’m glad you chose a photo that showed the loveliness of my dark circles to your gazillions readers. And AJ was very nice to drive me home. Thank goodness I wasn’t a poor kid or sick animal or he would have jettisoned me. And you’re younger than me spiritually. I’m very dark inside. Like the bad side of the turkey.

You don’t have to be a poor kid or sick animal. If you recall, Meg, I asked you specifically “Are you going to get sick in my car?” You said no, to which I responded “Ok, because if you do, I’m just going to roll you out the door and keep going.” Fortunately for you, you kept it together.
