Life (In London), Medicated

Throw me a bone here, people.

Filed under: Who's There — Heidi at 7:55 am on Wednesday, October 19, 2005

Ok, so we all know that Heidi needs a picker upper. Internet, here’s how you can help.

Just toss in a comment so that I know who’s out there reading my muttering.

No need for a fancy commentary for those of you who are generally just lurkers. Just a “hey” will suffice. I’d also be interested in knowing how you ended up here, but if you’d rather not say that you saw my link on a porn site, that’s ok too.

Here’s a quick pick me up…

Fletcher is teething and Darby learned to say “shithole” from a movie David and I were watching. We are all 3 living in Wichita with David’s mom while I perform in a Christmas show. David is in Lincoln all alone, and in the following the birth of baby #2, I’ve ballooned from a size 10 to a 16….HAPPY Freakin Wednesday.

This is my very first stop in the morning, even before I go get my diet coke. It is then followed by Dooce. I again check at lunch and intermittently through the afternoon. After I finally stopped working around midnight last night, I checked it AGAIN and went through practically all 800 photos on your Flickr stream.

I have a problem.

I read you everyday! I know the fall is tough on you, but maybe seeing Liam get excited about Halloween things and Christmas stuff will give you a new perspective, or at least help a bit. We’re good. I’m 26 weeks and everything is going good. Reed is not quite sure what to make of all of it, but he has got the name for the new one down. I talked to Mary last night and she has been put on bedrest until her due date next week!

Oh boy. Just did some catching up. Am very remiss in commenting! I’m newish to your blog. I haven’t had time to read ALL your archives, but I do check in at least once a day. I think you found me first. Not sure how, but I’m glad you did.

Liam is ridiculously adorable. I think I’ll have to snatch that delicious hair right off his head if I ever see him in public.

I don’t have SAD and I’m depressed at this change of season. Usually autumn is my favorite and I actually like winter. I guess that was before I had every day stretching in front of me like a vast desert of no plans and a 20-month-old sponge looking for stimulation.

Here are some things I should be doing now (while her highness is napping) instead of reading blogs:
Raking leaves
Putting away laundry
Sorting and packing away summer clothes
Painting trim
Unpacking (yup, I moved in THREE months ago)
Making fairly necessary phone calls to Insurance and Mortgage companies regarding letters they sent, oh, two months ago. Hmm.

SO, I FEEL YOU. All around. I’m sitting here in the same damn funk. And to top it off, I tried on the dress I was planning on wearing to a wedding this weekend. I was nervous that it would fall off me since it’s strapless and I bought it while nursing. But, NO! To my abject dismay it was actually a little tough to zipper. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

But, enough about me. I love your new design. mXO

I’m a high school friend of Aaron, Joe, and Chris. I found your blog looking for them, so I poke in occasionally to see what life is like in KC. Your blog is great reading… I love the green teeth and terrier-lying-in-wait photos from earlier this week.

So, ‘hey’ from Ann Arbor. =)
