Life (In London), Medicated

Daily Dose Of Liam

Has figured out how to open the oven slightly. Likes to play with Macey and the ball. Had so much fun playing with bubbles at Kindermusik (or maybe it was me) that we played with them outside in the backyard. Macey and Murphy also enjoy them. There was a bit of a tussle. Macey got a little psycho and flew into L. Amazingly, he wasn’t too upset about it. I was so glad she missed his eye.

I Am Horrified At Myself

A few days ago I posted about personalized license plates.

My pal, Kyttra, made this comment.

I think Babe can be all about attitude…not always about looks!!! I was called Kytt-babe in high school, and it had nothing to do with me thinking I could be mistaken for a hottie! (I was more of the SMRT GRL). Besides, thank goodness,we’re all considered Babes by someone!

I’m too cheap to pay for vanity plates, and I’ve been baffled by a few now and then. But, if they make someone feel good, who the heck cares.

She’s right. I feel like a heel.

Apologies to everyone…including the Ford Focus owner.

I was judgemental - and that’s something I try not to be.

SharmaShower.com

Went to Neal and Ang’s Wedding Shower this weekend and had a fantastic time. The Wedding Shower deserves initial caps. It was quite an event. There were five or six people hosting it (me included) and about 30 guests.

We did a Luau theme since the newlyweds will be spending their honeymoon in Bora Bora.

Everyone got a lei,

we decorated accordingly,

and Jeff, the drink guy, created special drinks for the occasion. (Blue Hawaiian - v. tasty - and the Sharma Colada)

We played the Nearly Newlywed Game and these two pics were taken immediately following Angela’s statement that being a mother isn’t a real job.

Of course she was thinking monetary compensation and she was horrified after she said it. But it was pretty funny considering she thought being a gardener is a real job.

She did The Propeller for us once again,

they opened gifts,

and then we ate tasty food.

After food, there was cake. Blatantly misspelled cake.

Regardless, it was a fantastic party.

If you’re interested, Neal and Ang have a website, SharmaWedding.com, dedicated to their wedding, which I think is a great way to keep everyone informed. As a result, Aaron has taken to calling every event .com. I guess the next big things are SharmaBachelorParty.com and LowerBacheloretteParty.com. Then, we finally get to attend SharmaWedding.com. Both Aaron and I are in the wedding and we are looking forward to it. I’m sure Neal and Ang are as well.

I Did It To Myself, I Suppose

I NEVER should have posted about Liam’s sleep habits. Evidently he was able to either read my blog, or he heard me talking about how well he was doing. As my friend Jen says, Murphy’s Law Of Motherhood intervened and he was up in the night for about an hour and up for the morning at 5.45.

I know he doesn’t feel well, so that helps me cope, but it’s still not fun.

Big Day

We paid off our Jeep today. No more car payments!

Unfortunately, I looked at what we owe on the house today as well. It brought down my elation about the car just slightly.
