L decided that he should start nursing twice in the night again. It is kind of annoying, but knowing that the next few months are going to completely upset his routine, we’ll just go about our business and do what we have to do, I suppose. He’ll wean when he’s ready.

Went to dinner with Meg this eve. Lammer and Daddy had a little fun.

Daily Dose Of Liam

Liam is quickly surpassing the dogs in intelligence. He already knows what I’m talking about when I say “go outside,” “take a shower,” “eat,” “go get your [you name it] and bring it to Mama,” and myriad other things that I can’t think of right now. He is also trying REALLY hard to say “Hey,” “Hi,” “Mama,” and “Daddy.” Also loves to play hide and seek. And, he and Macey play with ice.

We celebrated his birthday today because we are going to be in OKC on the actual date. He got a lawn mower, which frightens him.

I Am Woman, See Me Get Stuff Done

The other night, Aaron and I moved our washer and dryer from the basement to the main level of the house. It was no easy task. Those suckers are heavy.

I was so looking forward to it because it will make it so much easier to do laundry. However, we got them installed and found that the dryer didn’t work. I deduced that there wasn’t any electricity going to the outlet. So, being the housewife who is trying to get things taken care of without the husband, I figured out who installed the electrical wiring and called them. They came out today and since 8 a.m., I have done four loads. That would have taken days with the washer and dryer in the basement. I am so excited. (I am also a suburban housewife.)

Also, I am going to have the deck refinished and I have to go and pick up the Jeep, which has been in the shop since Wednesday having the air conditioner fixed. AND, I get to go pick up my scooter (hopefully) this afternoon, which also means I have to drive the Jeep with the trailer. (Ugh.)

And the big kicker? Liam has been asleep for 2.5 hours. I actually went to check and make sure he was alive. He was breathing, so I took that as a good sign.

Heather/Ethan Update

They are thinking that she’ll get to go home this evening! Yay.

But, the crappy news is that she is going to have to have someone staying with her all the time so that she has help with Em. As Brian put it, she is not happy about the situation, but is finding some solace in getting to organize everything. Ah, the control issue. :)

She’s really not allowed to do anything until she is 35 weeks…that’s July 19th. She has to sit on the couch. The Dr. told her that she can leave the couch to go to make a sandwich, but someone else has to clean it up for her. She’s going to relish those bathroom trips, I think.

She’s in much better spirits since she (hopefully) gets to go home.

Thanks for all of the thoughts.
