An Educational Endeavour
Well, Liam seems to be feeling better and we both got more sleep last night. I am relieved. However, I believe he is trying to educate me on “How It’s Going To Be Now That I’m One.”
I think he’s been working up to it for a week or so, but I believe he is officially going to move into the one-nap-a-day category. The last few days I’ve been frustrated because he’s only slept for 25-45 minutes in the morning - which used to be his longest nap. Today he just decided that he’s old enough to decide for himself when it’s time to nap.
We had to run to Guthrie to take Mother, H & B’s van, to the dealership. (She’s having her yearly.) Liam was nodding off in the car, so I thought he’d take a nap when we got home. Instead, we got home and I put him down and he cried. And cried. And cried. Finally I tried to nurse him, but he didn’t want that either! I was so excited! He just wanted to be up. And he was happy. So that’s fine with me.
Plus, he only nursed once last night.
My, what one year, one day can do for a kid.
