One Year Ago Today

A year ago today, I went to the Dr. and she told me that I was no where near ready to deliver. There was nothing going on. Nada. Nilch.

I was not pleased about it, but what can you do? I couldn’t force the kid to make an appearance. So, I cried about it and went on with my day. Even went to Aaron’s Church Reunion for dinner. I was uncomfortable and pretty much pissed off. But, I did have a pretty good piece of lemon pie!

A year later and my, how things have changed. I am in OKC with my sister - who is uncomfortable and pretty much pissed off about being couch-ridden. But she looks so cute!

And Liam is feeling pretty crappy too. He has a fever of 104. I hope he doesn’t have to spend his birthday sick.

The joys of motherhood never cease.

Heidi-
Glad to know you made it ok to OKC! I can’t believe Liam is going to be ONE! These boys are just growing so fast….and you know that means we’re getting OLD!

I hope your sister is doing well. We’ll miss you and Liam tomorrow at LLL at the fire station! take care! :)

It seems like just yesterday Riley was my foster child and he was sitting on your giant stomach. Oh, things were simpler then, weren’t they?

Ah, yes, and I believe we were discussing how the titty fairy’s delivery would determine the size of a bride maid’s dress. :-) Glad you are with your sis. Poor Liam! I hope he doesn’t spend his 1st birthday sick.
