Well, really it’s a nose stud, but that didn’t have the panache that era-ing did.
I have tried for months to get my stud to sit properly flush with my nose and it doesn’t seem to be cooperating. I have now had three different studs in place to try to get it to heal and I am supposed to do a sea salt soak three times a day for 15 minutes. (I don’t think people with kids are meant to have nose piercings. Who the hell has time for that?) I have felt from the beginning of the endeavor that my nose was rejecting the strange item I forced into it. Scary, isn’t it?
If you can’t see the swelling, you are an idiot. This is August of last year about a week after I had it done and it was painful. I should have known then. As for now, I am done. I just hope the little hump on my nose goes away. I was certain that it wouldn’t be as permanent as a tattoo. We’ll see.
Have you SEEN my blog today?
All of a sudden, out of the blue, it’s blue!!! I am so happy. However, the wonderful look of it leads me to believe that my BIL has had a slow day at work!
I am caring for a sick kid today, so unless you want me to describe how he was unhappy the whole way home from Oklahoma in detail or you want an update on the amount of snot I can suck out of his nose with the bulb syringe, that’s all I’ve got.
Drove back home. Was NOT fun. L didn’t sleep at all and five hours is a long time to have a kid awake in the car. I had to sit in the back seat with him so he’d stay calm. We sang Kindermusik songs for what seemed like forever.
